If you need to download a specific file to edit locally, simply click the " Download" button found next to a file.
That file or folder will now begin to upload to your server. Once done, click Upload File(s) to confirm the upload. Click Choose Files and locate and select the file or folder that you wish to upload. To upload a file to your server, start by browsing the directory to where you would like to upload the files and then click the Upload File(s) button at the top of the WebFTP page. If you want to save the file then close it click " Save & Close. You can now make the needed changes and click " Save " once you're done and wish to remain with the file open. To edit a file, such as your server.properties file, click " Edit" next to the file's name, and a text editor will be opened. By default, you will be brought to your server's base directory, the lowest level of your server (where everything's contained). You are now able to browse and edit your server's files inside your browser.
To access the files on your server with WebFTP, you will need to log into your OneControlCenter control panel, select your server and c lick FTP File Access. Renaming, Downloading, or Deleting Individual Files It is strongly recommended that you use FileZilla for larger transfers, such as worlds. The first is our WebFTP available in the control panel, and secondly, you can use your server's FTP credentials to use your favorite FTP client, such as FileZilla. MCProHosting has two FTP options available for you to use. Using FTP is required for many things such as uploading Minecraft worlds, installing Rust Oxide plugins, adding Starbound mods, and many other tasks that require access to your server files.
